A Bit About Us

We are delighted to introduce the first edition of The Collected Impact Collective’s weekly newsletter dedicated to fostering connections among youth and promoting mental health awareness. This newsletter will serve as a platform to share inspiring stories, practical wellness tips, valuable resources, and upcoming events designed to support and empower young individuals. Our goal is to create an open and supportive community where conversations about mental health are normalized, and every young person feels heard, valued, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive. Through this initiative, we hope to strengthen awareness, provide guidance, and encourage meaningful discussions that contribute to a healthier, more connected generation.

The Heart of It All

At Connected Impact Collective, we are deeply committed to fostering a supportive environment where every young person can openly discuss and navigate their mental health journey. Our core values of empathy, accessibility, and community drive us to create meaningful programs and resources that empower youth to thrive. We believe that mental health resources should be accessible to all, breaking down barriers so that no one feels alone in their struggles. Empathy is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every individual feels heard, valued, and supported. Community plays a vital role in mental well-being, and we strive to cultivate spaces where youth can connect, share their experiences, and uplift one another. Through these guiding principles, Connected Impact Collective is dedicated to fostering awareness, providing essential support, and advocating for a world where mental health is prioritized and understood. By working together, we can create lasting change, ensuring that every young person has the tools and support to navigate their journey with confidence.

A Moment of Reflection

Our board members are the backbone of our mission. This month, Dulce shares insights on the significance of addressing youth mental health and her commitment to our cause. There was a point in her life when she felt completely overwhelmed trying to balance school, church, and her personal life.

I wanted to do well in everything, but it felt like no matter how hard I tried, I was always backsliding somewhere. I reached a point where I didn’t know who to talk to because I didn’t want to put my problems and stress onto anyone. It wasn’t until I opened up to a close friend, started leaning more into my faith, and began meditating that I realized I was not alone. I was able to receive the help I needed before I gave up on my academics and dancing. If you’re struggling with balancing everything, just know that you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. There are people out there who care and are willing to help you!" Dulce’s story is a powerful reminder that seeking support can make all the difference. By fostering open conversations and providing resources, we strive to ensure that no young person feels alone in their struggles.

Looking Ahead

As we conclude our newsletter, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment to our mission. Your involvement is the cornerstone of our efforts to create a world where every young person feels supported and empowered in their mental health journey.
